Few things in life give a bigger adrenaline rush than jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft deliberately with the sole intention of enjoying a freefal and hoping that the parachute will work.
That being said, it’s an absolutely amazing experience everyone should try at least once. Yes it will be scary. Yes you will second guess yourself onceyou are in that plan. But can you imagine the rush you experience once you’ve safely landed again? Amazing.
Contrary to popular belief, skydiving is not that dangerous. In fact, less than 1 in every 10,000jumps goes wrong ( usually guys that have done it for years and are experimenting with jump techniques).
In most cases you will first do a double jump where you are tied to an instructor and pray to god you will safely land again (which always happens). After that, you could consider getting your own certificate which costs less than $1000 enabling you to jump outof airplanes in the weekend ‘because you felt like it’.
Make sure that when you take your first jump (with aninstructor) it’s somewhere with a nice drop zonewhen the skies are clear. Nothing sucks more than paying money for your first jump only to realize that you picked a cloudy day.
Take the jump - thank us later.
