Frequently asked questions.

Why do I need to enter my wrist size when I place an order?

When you place an order our designers will start working on your watch. To ensure that it will fit you perfectly, we ask you to enter your wrist size.

How do I measure my wrist size?

Measuring your wrist size is simple so don't worry. If you don't have flexible measuring tape around that's okay - you can also use a string.

1. Wrap the string (or tape) around your wrist bone and make sure the measurement is as accurate as possible.

2. Hold the string next to a ruler and remember or write down your wrist size.

3. Fill in your wrist size when placing your order.

Who makes the leather cuffs?

We work together with skilled designers with studios across the world who design the overall look and feel of the leather cuffs and the colors of each watch. The watch faces themselves are produced by third parties and we make sure they transform into something special.

One of our designers in Naples, St. Petersburg, Bratislava, Moscow, Tallinn, New York or Miami will be changing the colors of the watchcasing and work many hours to perfect each leather cuff.  You can read more about the designers we work with here.

Are these wristwatches waterproof?

Some of the wristwatches at Chronodos are water resistant (not waterproof) up to 3ATM (90ft or 30m). However, the clockwork and genuine leather cuff could get damaged doing so, which is why we recommend you don't go in the water with your watch.

In practical terms, you can be assured that your watch will be casual liquids proof (like doing the dishes or rain).

Why is my shipment taking longer than expected?

Because we work together with watchmakers from around the world, your watch could be made and shipped from a number of countries, all having different logistical systems and regulations.

You can always send us an email if you have any further questions concerning the shipment of your products.

I'm interested in working with Chronodos as a watch designer - do you still hire new designers?

Yes! We love working with new people and always look for new designers. You can read more about working with us here. If you think you have what it takes then don't hesitate to send us an email.

I have a question that's not listed here. How can I get in touch ?

Should you have any questions, suggestions, or business proposals you can contact us by sending  an email to contact@chronodos.com. We respond with 24 hours.
